SOLVED

I have 4 items stalled on Journals on hold, and this number never comes to 0 even i have started accounting task or restart Sage Server.

we are using Sage X3 version 9.0.2.

Please help, how to make 0 in journal on hold in accounting task menu?

Normally journal on hold means that the journals have not been posted to GL. Can you check the temporary tables to see if those 4 journals are also in GACCENTRY. If the journals are in both temporary table and GACCENTRY table then you might be having issues with your Windows Registry. If you confirm the above I might send you some notes with some Registry updates that I did in the past to fix a similar issue.

Warning: Before you change the registry you need a strong backup as things can go wrong

the 4 journals are checked in table GACCTMP, GACCTMPD and GACCTMPA.

The journals are not found in table GACCENTRY.

the 4 journals have been cleared to 0 by changing the field FLG_0 to 0 (zero) in the table GACCTMP with each  Journal No field (do not change it all at once)

Afterwards the field in the table GACCTMP, GACCTMPD and GACCTMPA will move to table GACCENTRY, GACCENTRYA dan GACCENTRYD. If the journal on hold has been deducted by 1, it means the process is succesful. (While doing these query, accounting task has to be active).

The second, third and fourth journal deducted one by one by using the same query changing the field FLG_0 to 0 (zero) in the table GACCTMP while accounting task is active.

Please try these in another testing server before using it in the real server. Just for precation.

Hello Alexander, I know it was a while since your post but customer is having the same issue: records are in both GACCTMPx and GACCENTRYx tables. You've mentioned updating windows registry. Can you please send your notes? Thank you.
