I'm wondering if anyone out there may have a solution or possibly the same issue.  Currently we are using pack codes for inventory so we can retain the number of units per weight however now we want to begin using price lists but based on the products stocking unit.  This would mean we need to eliminate the use of pack codes.   This becomes an issue as I would need a field to display the weight of the Lot received.  I'm testing using STOJOU.PALNUM however this is an alphanumeric field and making reporting an issue as using the field in formula and receiving errors.  There is the weight field on the product however we can receive numerous weights for the same product (which is why we had used pack codes).   I'm thinking our only option is to have a customized numeric field in STOJOU.  Has anyone had a customized field in STOJOU? Its a massive table so wondering what repercussions there would be if any.   Hope I'm making sense and look forward to any feedback.   Most of our products are stocked in LBS or KGS so it would be really useful to have a field that we can enter the base weight of the Lot.
