There can be multiple explanations to your situation. 

1. Parameter value ACH / PRI / PURRND is driving how rounding is done on the price : https://online-help.sageerpx3.com/erp/12/staticpost/round-unit-price/
2. Check on your currency how the rounding is managed
3. Check the data type linked to GROPRI in all tables/screens because in standard this is supposed to be MD8 (in the table PORDERP) and not MD6 (easy to do using the function RECHAMZ)
4. Did you revalidate everything related to MD6 after your change (tables, screens, entry transactions, etc;)
5. There are some consistency constraint to respect between data type, so you should analyse the impact of extending MD6 to 6 decimals without changing MD5, MD7, MD8
