X3 Financial Data Extraction Setup

I'm trying to setup a new Financial Data Extraction form for a Balance Sheet and Income Statement in X3 for a different format, but I'm not finding helpful instructions from start to finish. Does anyone have a good resource for creating different formats for the financials (Accounting forms > Financial Data Extraction) and not the Calculation/Inquiry functions?

We've built these from scratch and it can be done if you only need one or two balance sheets or income statements. It's tedious but doable.

The best source is the Sage U course and the materials from the course.

Then there are a number of articles in the kbase. Do you have this:

Look in the KBASE and the help file for FDE. You'll learn what it can do and the limitations.

The financial statement formats in X3 aren't very good. We have Excel models that pulls the data thru SEI.
