Folder restriction to single user

Question

Hello, 
 
 Is it possible to restrict a user to acces a folder? I'm trying to give acces to only one of the 2 folders we have but the workaround i've done is to create a new group and give acces only to said folder. 
 Is this the correct way or i am doing it wrong? i didn't see any option to do this on a single user.

 Yes this is the normal way to define Endpoint access. 
 Note if the X3 user related to the Web server user does not exist in the Endpoint, the user won't be able to connect in this endpoint but an error will be prompted when the user will try which is misleading.
