I'm hoping someone could guide me in the right direction or tell me if this is possible.

For our Finished Goods, our Quality team would like to create a new status that's essentially a "Provisional Approval but wait 7 days before A status". Basically, our Quality team does their initial quality checks, but some issues, unrelated to the quality analysis, may arise within the 7 days from a product being created. So ideally, they could perform their quality analyses, set the stock into status "Q2A" and then after 7 days the stock would automatically transition to A status allowing it to be allocated and shipped. 

Is this something that can be done from the Recontrol/Expiration status section? Or could this be automated using a workflow?
