FAQ: Custom columns in Web Scheduling

FAQ

I've seen multiple requests on how to add custom columns to Web Scheduling and thought a quick guide to this case and Brickscould help everyone: 

  1. Log in to the scheduler and select the Wrench -> Advance Configuration.

 

  1. Automatically, the Analitycs Bricks page will open.

Click on the icon located on the left Datasource

  

 

  1. Go to the Fileds tab and check, using the search bar at the top right, that the desired field is within the list on the right of the page.

Specify that:

  • ‘CustomAttribute_ODL’ are the custom attributes on the work order
  • ‘CustomAttribute’ are the custom attributes on the operation

  

 

If the field is not in the list on the right, click on the left arrow at the top.

Then locate the desired field and drag it with the cursor to the right list.

 

  1. Click on the ok button

Select the icon on the left side Columns

  

  

  1. Use the search bar, located at the top, to check if the field is already present.

 If present, check that the small eye located on the right is not crossed out. (If crossed out, the field is not visible; if not crossed out, the field is visible)

 If the field is not present, click on the + button at the top, next to the search bar.

Drag down the scroll bar, all the way to the end.

Select the newly created cell and fill it in by selecting in the Source column field the desired CustomAttribute field and indicating in the Name field the name you think is most appropriate

 

Click the ok button, in the lower right corner

  1. Click on the Publish button at the top

   

  1. Select the node or user on which to save changes and click ok

   

  1. Return to the scheduler and make a Change Context, clicking on the icon in the upper right corner

 

 

  1. Log back into the simulation, return to the Fishing Pond, select the wrench -> User Setting

  

  1. Locate the field created in the left list and move it to the desired position in the right list

Finally, click on Save
