Special notes: I use manual configuration. Additional steps needed for ADXADMIN if you use auto-config.

Go to Application Server (or the server holding the Sage X3's X3 folder list), edit the `solution.xml`.

Then open Sage X3 Console and trigger Configure Application

Check your ODBC for X3V12 (or your solution's name; my main runtime is named as X3V12).

Additionally,

- Check in `runtime` folder: `cfg\configRuntime.json` and `bin\env.bat`.

- Registry: `HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adonix\X3RUNTIME`.

If still got issue, check connectivity settings used by the database instance.

For SQL Server, even if can be accessed by SSMS, if ODBC have an issue to access, then Sage X3 cannot work as it make full use of ODBC as X3 login to do work with database.

For SQL Server, check with DBA for SQL Server instance for Sage X3 and the sqlbrowser is allowed access from the Application Server to the Database Server.

Similar error but for SQL Server hostname changed (if using SQL Server hostname as part of the connection string): TCP Provider: No such host is known.: ini_com:Variable dimension:!(2)
