General default location in stock receipts

Question

Hello, 
 I have some article-site with default location, but others with no default location. 
 If i receipt (misc receipt) an article with default location, all its ok, the default locarion in proposed. 
 But when i receipt an article without default location, the system propose a location, but &iquest;where can i configure this general default location?

Hi Jonathan.gonzalez 
 To get GENLOC by default, you simply need: 
 
 Set LOCSUG = Location type and AlternateLocation 
 Create a new location type being sure this is the 1rst in the alphanumeric order: 
 Create the related location GENLOC 
 Be sure to have a * as default location type and location

 The rule is the first location available in the alphanumeric order; the first alphanumeric location type is suggested and the0 within this location type, the first alphanumeric location code. For me a irrelevant location suggestion is the worst thing as this only trigers errors, so better to have no suggestion at all. 
 If you set the parameter value LOCSUG = Based on product setup this should disable the location suggestion when you have no location set on the product-site or product-warehouse. 
 
 This parameter is used upon the stock receipt of a product at a site. It allows you to specify which location suggestion must be made.

All Locations &ndash; The location is initialized with the first free location. 
 Based on product setup - The location is initialized with the first location that respects the setup of the Default locations associated to the Product-Site . If no default location is associated to the Product-Site , you must to select the location.
