Duplicated stock journal

SOLVED

Hello everyone,

I've noticed that two stock journals, Journal 1 and Journal 2, have been generated with identical details:

  • Goods delivered                           : 9265.30 (Credit Side)
  • Cost of Sales - Goods & Services: 9265.30 (Debit Side)

Upon reviewing the stock movement inquiry screen, I found only one stock movement record. Additionally, in STOJOU, there is just one record as well. Could you kindly assist me in understanding the root cause that led to the generation of two journals with the same details in stock accounting?

Current version: 2022 R3 (12.0.31)

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

    Hi

The reason is probably in the auto journal lines setup.
Identify the auto journal used (ENTCOD field in STOJOU) and do a comparison (using the function CMPGAU)  between this auto journal and the standard one (STKSD if this is a delivery) in the X3 folder.

    Hi Julien Patureau,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Upon further investigation, I identified that the auto journal used is YTKSD, and the variance between YTKSD and STKSD lies in the marked legislation.

There is also a difference in journal type formula:
    Auto journal: evalue(func SUBTFO.FC("SDX"))
    Standard    : evalue(func SUBTFO.FC("SKG"))

    I'm still investigating the difference.

Could you kindly advise on a solution to address this issue? Is it feasible to perform a journal reversal on one of the duplicated journals?

    I appreciate your assistance.

    Hi Julien Patureau,

    Thank you for your assistance.

Upon comparing the customized and standard journals, I've identified differences in line numbers (99 and 980) in the duplicated journal that are not present in the standard journal. Unfortunately, I'm uncertain about the root cause of this issue, and it seems to be specific to this delivery as it does not occur with others.

Thank you again for your support.
