Issue accessing old sage kb entries for na

Prompted by a thread:  Database Move

When I am looking at old threads in Sage City (now Sage Community Hub) in an attempt to resolve a problem faced by my client which were asked before, the thread comment may ask to check the NA KB referring to code provided.

For example, KB 109582https://support1.na.sage.com/selfservice/viewdocument.do?externalId=109582

When I try to access it, I cannot see anything.

Is there a reason some of these KB are not accessible for the common folks now? How could I resolve this other than prompting the community manager for the content of the KB?

    Hi  ,

Thanks for reaching out. I've requested that the KB you're looking for be pulled out of our archive. We moved to a new system and may have missed recreating it. Will update you with the new link once I have it.

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi

I have been told by Sage that when we find a missing article, we should create a ticket.

This was included in in the reply from Sage:

If you find any other corrupted articles, please enter a support ticket so that we can restore them. As far as missing articles, we could only migrate a limited number to the new system. The goal was to increase the quality level of articles and speed the searches. We migrated based on recent numbers of views and relevancy. We cleaned up duplicates. Many of the “how-to” articles were outdated and/or have been replaced by the Online help center’s “How-to” and “Quick start” sections.

As issues and question arise, we continue to add content to the knowledgebase. If there are articles that you are looking for, please let us know so they can be either migrated or created with current information.
