Expired Lot Error

Question

I have a sales order I allocated material to. When generating a preparation plan, the following errors come up:

When I look at the lot characteristics, it indicates that the lot doesn't expire until next year. I tried running a stock resynchronization but that didn't resolve the issue. Any insight as to what might be the issue?

Hi Dave Treat 
 Did you check the Use-by date as well? When is the expected delivery date? 
 In short make sure Delivery date < Use-by-date < Expiry date for the lot and sub-lot you selected. 
 If this is already case, then you may imagine this is a desynch (even if I don't think the expiry date is stored in different tables). In your shoes, I would try to change the expiry and/or use-by-date using the lot characteristics modification function (GESSMX).
