I'd also like to know what the solution is? Because the Stock Valuation function has errors when you backdate.

The Sage Costing team is working to correct this issue.  They have developed new tables and tools that will capture the stock quantities and values at the end of each accounting period and store them for historical reference.  The capabilities will be available within the next year.  I believe it will be in the on-premise version available next summer.

Has this solution been delivered yet?

I don't know.  My company isn't running the latest version.  Perhaps someone running V11 could comment.

My understanding is that Sage has delivered the valuation report that works properly in the Cloud version.  It will also apparently be available in V12.  Sage does not plan on making the report backwards compatible.

Something we have done for customers is run the report daily and store it using workflows.

The functions that were introduced as improvement on handling stock valuation in V12 are FUNCPTITH (Stock history period validation), CONSPITV (Stock Valuation by period) and FUNSTVA (Stock valuation report)  has a new reports, 

STOCK12PG.rpt and STOCK12PD.rpt
