this just started.  I've been using dual monitors for many years now.  hasn't been an issue until just this year.  it's not just gone, I can't move in sage and have no choice but to end task using the task manager.  issue was reported and work around (disconnecting / disabling 2nd monitor) provided by support on January 30th.  dual monitor off today, but I hadn't disconnected it, sage froze.  the only screens I had open in sage were the main screen / dashboard and a vendor report.  I clicked on "modify" and boom, sage froze.

It didn't freeze or crash, the 'Modify Report' dialog appeared where you couldn't see it, and alt-spacebar should allow you to move it back.

This screen shot is what that looks like on my workstation.

I don't know how else to say it.  it is not a window location issue (that I sometimes have when using just my laptop) I can't minimize any screen in sage, I can't close it, I can't move it, it's frozen, it's not just hiding, and I have to use the task manager to end the task and close sage.  I spent more than an hour with support and their results were exactly the same.  maybe its compatibility issue with windows 10, I don't know.  whatever it is, it only starting being an issue in January of this year.  prior to my support call January 30, I had no issues with windows 10, dual monitors or sage.

    Nor I.

...that you can see on the screen, because you have the main window 'Maximized'.

The only thing that ever worked for me was to end sage in the task manager or unplug the dual monitor.  I decided to play with this again yesterday and opened three completely different reports.  two were in lala land and one opened properly but froze sage (not even able to minimize to access desktop) when I selected "modify".  I called support at 1:30, received a call back at 3:37pm, my call was escalated and I received a call back at 4:07pm, and the issue was resolved within ten minutes.  Here is the condensed version (as is mentioned in the reply above) https://support.na.sage.com/selfservice/viewdocument.do?noCount=true&externalId=10558&sliceId=1&cmd=&micrositeID=MS_Agent&ViewedDocsListHelper=com.kanisa.apps.common.BaseViewedDocsListHelperImpl

That is what I suggested was happening, the first, second, and third time I responded to your post.  The issue is not specific to dual monitors or Sage 50.

You'll find that if you run Windows programs with 'restored' rather than 'maximized' windows, you can access the desktop and taskbar at all times.

as I mentioned in my reply "as mentioned in the reply above".  honestly, your reply was too wordy, and most of what you were saying didn't have anything to do with what was happening to me specifically and I glazed over reading it.  Since the first Sage support tech I spoke to "resolved" the issue by disconnecting the dual monitor (after spending an hour on the phone / remote log in) and since I have never had this issue with any other program in the bazillion years of using a computer, sage / sa or dual monitors, I wanted to recreate it and contact sage support again before doing anything. Thanks though, kudos
