    Hi all,

Thank you for reaching out and apologies for this ongoing issue. The Sage 50 Canada team has updated this article titled "Sage 50 crashes without error when opening a file that has pending Invoice Payments in single user mode" with new details.

I'm told that the workaround is still the only option. We'll share any news on a fix as soon as it's available. Thank you for your ongoing patience.

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi

    Resolution

    1. If the sample company opens and your data file is connected to Invoice Payments, wait till the pending issue is resolved.

    Workarounds:

    1. In the case that you need to access the file immediately disconnect from the internet and login to Sage 50 in single user mode until the issue is resolved. Follow Step 3 below.
    2. If that does not work, login with multi user mode or restore a recent backup by following How to restore from a backup
    3. Go to Setup > Settings > Receivables > Invoice Payments and uncheck the box Automatically download payments when the company opens.
      • Re-enable the checkbox when the issue is resolved.
