    Hi Glenn,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

This error message can appear if:

    • One of the NEST logins are locked out of the NEST portal.
    • There's a time-out connecting to the NEST portal.
    • The user hasn't logged in to the NEST portal for a long period of time.

To resolve this, you need to log onto the NEST portal as all users and resolve any issues that are discovered. For assistance with this, you need to contact NEST. Alternatively, follow the steps below:

    1. In Sage 50cloud Payroll, go to Company, then Pensions Module Settings.
    2. Click Open Management Centre.
    3. If prompted, enter your Sage ID login details.
    4. Click Manage Pension Accounts.
    5. Highlight the provider account in the list, click the delete icon.
    6. Click the add icon, then select Add new provider account, then click NEST. If you only had 1 provider account on the Management Centre, you will only need to click the NEST icon.
    7. Enter a description.
    8. Enter your NEST employer ID. This is your unique reference with NEST. It begins EMP and is followed by 9 digits, eg. EMP123456789.
    9. Enter your username and password for your NEST account.
    10. Click save, then close.
    11. Click Please assign a company.
    12. Select the company to assign to this provider account. If you have previously sent data via the Pensions Data Exchange, enter the date of your last successful submission.
    13. Close the Management Centre using the cross at the top right-hand corner.
