Anyone else having issues with MS KB4511555 and the Pay Now option not creating the link EVERY time?

Hi all, 

I started getting reports that the "Include Pay Now option in the email" wasn't getting created and inserted in the email message every time.   They were also reporting that the creation of the email had become a slow process too.  The only patch that I can connect to these reports is: KB4511555.  Has anyone else installed it yet?  Has it affected your Sage functionality?

Sage is there a know issue with this patch? 

If so, what is the plan of action?

If not, please install KB4511555 in your test environment to see if you have the same results.

Note:  We keep our MS software updated and patched routinely.  Win 10 and O365.

    Hi rw-us - 

    There is no known issue with MS KB4511555, although not officially tested I have installed this very update on a test machine of my own and am able to email and create the Pay Now link without issue.  The email creation process is also performing as expected.  If these issues began only recently do they still occur once this update has been removed?

    That is why I stated it was the only patch I could connect to these issues.  To my knowledge nothing had changed other than patching.  I checked the latest patch history and KB4511555 was the last one installed.  I removed it, tested, and it appeared emailing invoices had returned to normal.  NOTE:  I have NOT reinstalled it to see if the problem comes back.

    Donald,

    On your test machine, are you using desktop email program or webmail account?  If you are using the desktop email program, which app and what version?  We are using Outlook provided with O365 version 1902 (16.0.11328.20362) 32-bit.

    I have tested with the webmail function (using an O365 SMTP configuration), Outlook v1902 (Build 16.0.11328.20392 Click-to-Run)(O365 MAPI desktop client) and Mozilla Thunderbird 68.0.
