Worst Developement and Support Ever, At a Stand still NO access After Update to 2024

SOLVED

This software is the worst for developement and support that I have ever encountered in my profissional IT career. We have no access to our Sage 50 after updating to 2024, it will not accept any logins, and I can get no one to help me. I put in a support ticket last night and finally got an email today with links to solutions that did not work. I called the support phone number and the automated message said I had over an hour wait. I chose to be called backed when a technician was available and never recieved a call. My coporation is currently at an accounting stand still because we can not log in after the update. You would think a company that has the interest of a corporations finances would do more to help them, but I guess not. Most ridiculous support and accounting program I have ever experienced. It seems our company will just continue to be at a fianancial stand still until Sage support decides we are finally important enough to call back and help...

Without details about your issue and environment, is hard to dx what could be wrong.

Probably too late, hopefully you have a backup prior to the "update", but if you have that backup, perhaps revert to the previous version and wait until last week of March 2024 to "upgrade". Someone in corporate had the great cost savings idea of outsourcing QA, as in "ship it and we'll fix it if (when) QA (customers) report issues". So you would be better of waiting until QA (customers) run into and report more issues. Perhaps by March 2024 Sage release patches for all the stuff they missed.

We are still running v2022 because they didn't get their act together until March 2023, by then, we didn't want to have to upgrade 40 PCs to v2023 only to reinstall v2022. If you are not using payroll or need tax tables file, just don't even upgrade.
