Does anyone use a 3rd Party payroll company? We will be using a 3rd party payroll company next year and I was wondering how other companies are utilizing these companies.
Thank you,

We self perform Payroll and use he Sage Field Operations (aka Sage Service Operations) cloud for field Timesheet tracking. We import a csv file from SFO into Sage PR for payroll processing. We formerly used Sage Construction Anywhere, when it retired we looked all the other Timesheet systems but stuck with SFO. ADP has also tried to woo us but we prefer to keep it all inhouse.
Amanda,
Interested in finding more about Sage Field Operations (aka Sage Service Operations) cloud for field Timesheet Tracking.
We've been researching to find the best source for automating timesheets/time entry. Would like to get your feedback.
Weekly processing/ 100-150 field time sheets/ 10-20 projects.
Hi AnaC,
If you are interested in a demo of SSO/SFO, shoot me your account number and I can have someone get back to you.
Thanks!
We currently use SSO for our service dept. work order dispatch and processing. It has streamlined some of our payroll procedures and work order invoicing for that dept. We have been relatively pleased with the program. We also use Exaktime for our production crews and import the time entries directly into Sage payroll. I would recommend both programs.
Hi Lisa,
Did your group consider using SFO / SSO for recording time against production jobs? What are some of the challenges that set you in another way?
Thanks
No, just the service dept. as prior to this we were already utilizing Exaktime for both service and productions crews. SSO was implemented mainly to enable our service technicians to enter register items and payroll hours directly into the work orders in Service Management and to better track the technicians whereabouts and schedule the scope of work accordingly.

that makes sense. We currently use TimeClock Plus but are wanting to creatively make it into a single platform - mainly SSO / SFO to reduce variation in process.
