What happens when you restart the TSService.exe? Do you get any relief? Does it last?

After restarting the server or particular service (Timeslips DB service), the server works fine for the whole day but the next day morning it (Timeslips DB service) again starts consuming 100% CPU.

Do they have any automatic/scheduled backups set up for their database?

Can you please guide me how I can check that?

They don't have a scheduled back configured.

Is it causing problems on the system? Slowing anything down that you can see? Are all Timeslips related paths excluded from active anti-virus scanning. 

Hmm, okay. Let's check something else. When you go to File, Restore, and click the little ellipses box at the end of the option  at the very top to locate the backup file you want to restore....How many backup files are available in the list? This is the purpose of the TSService, maintaining that list. 

Hello, we tried to monitor the server by completely uninstalling AV from that server. The server works very slowly.

In our organization, each IT asset gets monitored by our monitoring tool, and that tool generates an alert whenever utilization crosses the threshold.

Running the server always 100% CPU utilization will not be the best practice and that’s too critical for applications like Sega Timeslips.

So, we are trying to figure out why Timeslips service utilizes 100% CPU utilization all the time
