Potency Management for BOM/Work Order

In our PILOT folder I have turned on potency management for one of our raw materials.  I have received in 3 different lots of that material, all with different potencies.  I can see on the Stock lot detail by site report, that the potency is part of the material's record, and the report shows an STK quantity and an Active quantity.  Active qty is STK qty * the potency %.  However, when allocating one of the less potent lots to a work order, X3 does not take into account the potency and simply allocates based on STK qty.  Is there a parameter or setting that I need to change?  I set Potency management to Yes in Setup->General Parameters->Folder and ran a folder validation as well.

If the only place X3 calculates active qty is on this one report, that isn't very helpful for determining the amount of a raw material needed for manufacturing.  I have checked the KB but was not able to find any additional information on potency management.  We were hoping that X3 would take the potency of the raw material into account when detail allocating the lot to a work order.

Thank you for any insight into this feature.

You have to set in the BoM link quantity the active quantity you need in your process. Then the allocation process (if and only if detailed allocation) will ensure the active quantity of the lot match the active quantity requested in your work order. Hence if a lot with a potency of 25% is allocated, the physical quantity allocated will be twice higher than a lot with a potency of 50%.
    No special setup needed.
You can test this in the SEED folder with the product RAW426 and site FR022 (for U8 and higher).

Thanks for the reply Julien.  I checked our SEED folder (PU9.04) and I do not have a BOM for RAW426.  My SEED folder says that item is not manufactured.  It is part of category RAWPO which is purchased only.  Is there another item that I might look at as an example?

Currently, all of our BOMs are set with the BOM Qty and the Link Qty as the same.

    Thanks,
