V12 Site Map

Is anyone finding the V12 interface frustrating? I would love some advise on whether there is a trick to make it more usable,

When I use the Site map, if I close a screen I want it to return me to the Site Map. Not keep returning me to the Landing Page.

I think I am noticing it more as the Site Map used to be pinned to the screen so you could get back to it.

By removing the navigation menu bars I really feel that they have removed some functionality.

Is anyone else finding it a step backwards.   I love the favourites bar but I would love to be able to choose if I want to go back to a landing page or Site Map.

    We have just loaded V12 and are working on a migration. Our most frustrating feature is there doesn't appear to be any way to make the site map the default interface for our users. We do not have landing pages or process flows setup in our current version, nor do we want to spend the time creating them when our users like and want the site map. They have definitely removed some important functionality and I would like to know who I can complain to. Would also love to know if anyone has found a way to use the site map as the default. Everyone I talk to hates it as well!
