Peg supply from Multi-Level BOM

Hello,

is there a way to automatically create work orders for the low level item when a work order is generated for the finished item from a multi level item?

Hi, you can use 'Multi-level Planning' function. This later allows to create all WO of finished Product and it's items based on Product BOM.

An alternate option is to run the MRP (as a batch) and then use the automatic release (FUNMAUTR) to transform all WOS into WOF.

However, running the MRP lasts a long time (so no real time) and you need to find a common selection criteria for the WOS you want to release.

So really the multi-level plan seems the best option as suggested already.
