Specific Sales Price List for Service Requests

SOLVED

Hello fellow citizens,

For a sold product we have a customer/product sales price list using a minumum quantity of 10 items. The same item can also be consumed in service requests, but there we do want to allow quantities less than 10; a single item could be used to repair a unit.

Does anyone have any experience setting up a specific sales price list for service requests? In the service request there is no option to lookup prices or anything, it simply takes the price from a price list or base price. Also investigating price Reason Codes did not result in a solution; it doesn't seem possible to use them as criteria to select the right price list. The fields in the SPRICLINK table also didn't help.

Thank you,

Gianni

You might try driving it off some additional options on the sales price list . Can service be a different facility or even a special sales rep code?   You have these files to pull fields from in the standard set up of the sales price list.    I was initially hoping you could drive it off the transaction type but that doesn't seem possible.

I heard a rumor that pricing might be an area being examined for a future upgrade.   Not sure where i got that.

Thanks Stephen and Martins. It seems that for some fields it doesn't work as expected and may need some (minor) script adjustments as also alluded to in this post.

So I dove into the SPRICLINK once more and found that the Payment Terms might be useful. It works as expected in tests and allows me to have a specific price list for the Service Request while not interfering with regular Sales Orders.
