Which WO costing are you refering to: provisional cost or actual cost?

If you don't know, just sent a screen short of the function you are using to view the cost.

In the actual cost calculation on the release product, the material cost comes from the valuation method set on the product-site.

If you want the actual cost to pick-up standard cost for your component, you would need to set all components with STD valuation method:

This change affects the stock valuation process, hence be sure to test / approve the impact on your GL.

Note: by-product component type (See the Production BOM definition) are always valued using standard cost. We face a product limit here: we cannot, without customization, value the by-product stock using actual cost tracked on the work order.
