How to ship 0 units? SAGE X3

Hello - we are new with Sage X3, never worked in it before.

We have an order where the customer ordered an item, but we are out completely. So we need to short the order to 0.

SAGE will not let me change the ship qty to 0 in the pick ticket screen which is where we would change 100 to 99 shipped.

The only way I figured out how to do this is to delete the line in the Pick Ticket screen. but then the item does not show on the BOL at all.

The thing is in our old system, if we had to do this, the BOL would print with ITEM: 123456 Qty Ordered: 100 Qty Shipped: 0.

What is the correct way to do this?

Sounds like you will need to modify the crystal report to display the SHTQTY field from SORDERQ. If there is a shortage, the pick ticket should not contain the line in the first place. It should display in the sales order as a shortage, and when the pick ticket is generated, only available quantities are set to be picked/delivered. Then in your invoice, it should display the quantity shipped and quantity backordered.

If you are out of the item, your stock count should be 0 and this prevents the pick ticket from generating a line for the product. Unfortunately I do not know what the default BOL looks like, because our Sage X3 partner created all the crystal reports for us.
