I have some article-site with default location, but others with no default location.
If i receipt (misc receipt) an article with default location, all its ok, the default locarion in proposed.
But when i receipt an article without default location, the system propose a location, but ¿where can i configure this general default location?

The rule is the first location available in the alphanumeric order; the first alphanumeric location type is suggested and the0 within this location type, the first alphanumeric location code. For me a irrelevant location suggestion is the worst thing as this only trigers errors, so better to have no suggestion at all.
If you set the parameter value LOCSUG = Based on product setup this should disable the location suggestion when you have no location set on the product-site or product-warehouse.

I test, and it works. The params is ok, the problem is that when i create a product-site, by default fill the default locations with an *, and sage x3 propose a location between all locations. Do you know a method not to fill with * by default?
Our client needs to use a generic location when no specific location exist in product-site, and not choose always the same location. I understand that a workarount would be use an specific location type code and location code startinng with "AA.." or similar, but is it possible to specific these default location with setup?
