Journal Entries Status is Automatically Changing

Question

We have journal entries being created in different months for Gen Adjustmt (GENAJ), when created it has the Temporary Status, but when the individual goes back it has changed to 'Final' without her touching it. Where do I check if there is some rule for this? It's only happening occasionally and not to all journal entries for Entry Type 'GENAJ'. 
 Is there a way to check when the value (Status) changed from Temporary to Final?

Thanks! We believe it was the copying as the reason why the user was experiencing issues. We used these instructions to take it from Final to Temporary: www.netatwork.com/.../

Hi, 
 Here are a few things to look at: 
 
 You can put an audit on the GACCENTRY table for when the STA field is modified. 
 If you copy a Final status journal, it maintains the final status for the copy. 
 Is the ACCDEF task code (Final Validation) set to run as a recurring task?
