Sage50 Cloud. Item drop down list. More than one item is selected / highlighted when using the down arrow key.

SUGGESTED

Hi,

I need help with doing a quote, I get this problem when I try to find an item and scroll down with my down arrow key.  All the items get highlighted as I scroll down and I am not sure which is the item I need to choose.

I am using Sage50 cloud 2023 on Windows 11.  Same problem on Sage50C 2022 after I upgraded to Windows 11.

Thanks for the help.

We are working on fixing this compatibility issue, but in the meantime we've determined that the issue is cosmetic: all items in the dropdown appear to be highlighted when using the down arrow key to scroll, but in reality the last item is always the only one that's actually selected.  You can also work around this issue by using mouse instead of the keyboard to select items from the dropdown, as this works normally.

Thank you for your patience while we work on this graphics incompatibility issue between Sage 50 and Windows 11!

I appreciate you stopping by with a reply.  But saying it is only cosmetic it a real problem for me and others.  We don't expect the drop down list to be all highlighted.  We pay for a product and like it to work as expected.  Working on it?  Windows 11 has been out for a long time.  I am sure this is an easy fix with some coding and no one has taken the time to work on it.

Using the mouse isn't the fix also.

    Any Update on this Issue?

Using mouse is more time consuming and inefficient, creating time loss.

I find this SUPER frustrating as well. I utilize my keyboard over the mouse as it is more efficient/ faster with Sage 50. I did find that once the items are highlighted, you can scroll up or down with your mouse to "erase" the unneccessary highlighting. But you have to do this each time, each line. Scroll feature on the mouse helps here without actually using my mouse.

Hope this helps ease some of the frustration for you as well until this "cosmetic" issue can be fixed.
